Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about this whole "teaching humanoids right from wrong" thing lately. It's kind of mind-blowing when you really get into it, right?
I mean, we're basically trying to program morality into machines. How do we even start with that? Do we just feed them a bunch of philosophical texts and hope they figure it out? Or do we hard-code a set of rules like "don't harm humans" and call it a day?
And then there's the whole cultural aspect. What's considered right in one part of the world might be totally wrong in another. How do we deal with that? Do we make different ethical versions for different countries? That seems like a mess waiting to happen.
Plus, let's be real, humans don't even agree on what's right and wrong half the time. How are we supposed to teach robots when we can't even sort it out ourselves?
